Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Hi! I’m Nero and I am looking for a family who wants to keep me forever! I am very polite—I will not lick your face, jump up, or bark unnecessarily (unless there is someone suspicious at the door).
I LOVE to cuddle and take naps. There is no place too small for me to squeeze into and snooze.
I would love a fenced in yard to be able to roam and lay in the sunshine, but I also love to take walks and am very polite on a leash!
I haven’t been around any kids or cats. I get excited about other dogs on my walks but haven’t met any while living with my foster mom. By nature I’m very calm and gentle. I never nip when I take treats and I don’t mind if you pet me while I eat my food. I also let my foster mom clean my ears and brush my teeth but my favorite is when she gives me a paw massage. I don’t think I’d mind a kid that would play gently with me!
Even though I’m 8, I still love to play and chew my toys. I really love the kind with stuffing and a squeaker. When I tear it apart, I put it in a neat pile for my foster mom to clean up. She attached a photo so you could see how neat and tidy I am!
Overall I think I’m a catch and would love to be the piece your family has been missing!
